Sugata Mitra's 'Hole in the Wall'

Education scientist Sugata Mitra tackles one of the greatest problems of education — the 

best teachers and schools don’t exist where they’re needed most.          Sugata Mitra 实行了“Hole in the Wall”这个教育理念，让我感到非常地佩服，而且也

很赞同他的做法。经过实习及本身所受过的教育，让我深深地认为自己或现在的学生是

属于“被动式”地接受老师传授的知识。有如林老师说的，当她给我们功课时，我们都会问

老师“要怎么做？”、“这样做对吗？”、“老师，可以给我们一个范围吗？”等等，等待老师主

动给予知识，而我们则“被动”行动，往往都不会自己主动去探寻。看完 Sugata Mitra 的理

念后，我认为现在的教育应该是处于让学生自由发挥及探讨，而老师则应该扮演着“辅助

者”，从旁协助学生。不要让学生养成“饭来张口 ，衣来伸手”的习惯，要让他们自己去尝

试去学习，这样他们才会记得自己所学习到的知识，并能恰当地运用，而不是机械式地

灌输在他们的脑中。
